Who am I?
Hello, and a warm welcome! Thank you for dropping by. I’m Liza, a 50-year-old passionate traveler from Portugal. Over 9 years ago, I left a 20-year career in the largest Portuguese private bank to pursue my lifelong mission: exploring the wonders of the world and inspiring others to live happier, higher-quality lives through my experiences.
I started with a one-year plan, but it turned into a life focused on exploring as much as I could. Despite challenges—losing my mom at 4 and no family support since 14—I graduated from top universities, had a successful career, and created my dream life. At 39, I went after my ultimate dream: traveling the world without a return ticket.
I’ve traveled around the world three times, and I think my adventure is just starting. The memories and lessons I’ve collected are too valuable to keep to myself. That’s why I wrote several books sharing my travels, experiences, feelings, and the amazing people I’ve met—some of whom have become lifelong friends, passions, and travel buddies.
Besides telling my travel stories, I also share what I’ve learned about Yoga and Ayurveda medicine in India, along with tips for budget travel.
